I’ve always wanted one of these bikinis
After we were done working on the yard Andy said to me “you wouldn’t have been able to do all that last year” I looked at him and realized he was right. There’s no way I couldve done what I did today wo the help of lovely Crossfit.
I shoveled rock into 18 buckets and had to haul each one up my freaking hill to the front yard. Up and down that Hill a million times. I even carried 2 buckets at a time. Sure it was tiring but it wasn’t hard… Like I wasnt struggling to do it.
I’ve even noticed that its a little easier rolling some of the “biggins” at work.
Little but mighty!!
Crossfit Week 10 Update
I think it’s safe to say I can cross this goal off my list. Today we ran almost 2 miles. The first 1400m (200 shy of 1 mile) I did in 6:36. Had I run an extra 200 to make 1 mile, I would’ve done it in 7 min. A 7 min mile??? When I first started timing my runs I couldn’t go faster than 15-16 min. That’s a huge improvement. I still kinda suck at running for how long I’ve been doing it but I’m happy. I’m not a runner I’ve never been a runner. This is amazing
My partner today was Tina. Shes the slowest person there. She’s always last at pretty much everything. We started with the faster runner running first, then the partner started 4 min later. I asked if she wanted to go first or not (I felt bad just assuming it would be me) she said “um I’m the slowest one here you can go lol”. So I ran, did my deadlifts, and ran again. Everyone is stretching, putting weights away, some even leaving. I look around and can’t find Tina. So I went outside to check on her bc I thought she must have died of a heat stroke lol. She was kinda walking along, still kinda far away, So I yelled for her to finish. She started to jog so I met up w her and jogged in with her. She was all smiles. It felt good pushing her to finish.
I love CF. So glad I’m doing this
